1. Who we are
The service is provided by Alcance Supremo Unipessoal, Lda., tax number 515839833, registered at Rua Álvaro Aurélio do Céu Oliveira 312, 9.º C, 4470-134 Maia, Portugal, trading as Way2Go.
Contact: info@way2go.pt and +351 913 281 953.
These terms govern the use of the website and the booking of chauffeur-driven passenger transport. Completing a booking means accepting them.
2. The service
We provide private point-to-point transfers with a chauffeur, between the locations given by the customer at the time of booking.
Vehicles are assigned by class, not by model. The name and image shown when booking represent the class — the vehicle actually used will be of equivalent or higher specification.
Some classes may be served by more than one vehicle. Where that applies, it is stated at the time of booking.
We operate in mainland Portugal and Spain. Journeys over 400 kilometres have no automatic price and require a quotation.
3. Booking and confirmation
A booking is made when payment is completed. Until then, the price shown is an estimate and binds neither party.
After payment, the customer receives a confirmation by email with the booking number. That number is the reference for any later contact.
If no confirmation arrives within one hour, please contact us. A booking without confirmation may not have been recorded.
We may decline or cancel a booking where the service cannot be provided, refunding the full amount paid.
4. Price and payment
Prices shown are final and include VAT at the applicable rate, tolls, and the waiting time set out in these terms.
— Payment is made in full online: at the time of booking or, where indicated, through a payment link sent after the request. The booking is only confirmed once payment is received.
— No payment of any kind is taken by the chauffeur, before or after the journey.
— Payment is processed by Stripe or, for payment by link, by SumUp. Card details do not pass through our systems and are not stored by us.
Additional services requested during the journey — unplanned stops, change of destination, waiting beyond the included time — are invoiced afterwards at the applicable rate, and communicated before being charged.
5. Pick-up, waiting and delays
The chauffeur arrives at the pick-up point up to ten minutes before the scheduled time.
For airport pick-ups, 60 minutes of waiting time from actual landing are included. Elsewhere, 15 minutes from the scheduled time are included.
If the customer neither appears nor makes contact within that period, the booking may be treated as a no-show, with the consequences set out in the Cancellation Policy.
The customer is responsible for providing a correct flight number where relevant. Without it we cannot track delays, and waiting time runs from the scheduled hour.
6. Luggage and passengers
The number of passengers and luggage items given when booking determines the vehicle class. Exceeding what was declared may make the service impossible to provide, with no refund.
Child seats must be requested when booking. Portuguese law requires an appropriate restraint system for children under 135 cm.
Dangerous goods, illegal substances, and animals without a suitable carrier and prior notice may not be transported.
7. Customer obligations
The customer undertakes to provide true and complete information when booking, in particular addresses, contact details and flight number.
The chauffeur may refuse or interrupt the service in case of behaviour that endangers safety, breaks the law, or damages the vehicle. No refund is due in that event.
Damage caused to the vehicle by a passenger is that passenger’s responsibility.
8. Liability
We are liable for damage arising from failure to meet our obligations, as provided by law.
We are not liable for delays or inability to provide the service due to causes beyond our control, including exceptional traffic, adverse weather, strikes, road closures, or decisions of public authorities.
We recommend allowing adequate margin for journeys connecting to flights or trains. We are not liable for missed connections where the margin proves insufficient.
Items left in the vehicle are kept for 30 days. Return can be requested at info@way2go.pt, with shipping costs borne by the customer.
9. Cancellation
Cancellation, amendment and refund conditions are set out in the Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints may be addressed to info@way2go.pt. We undertake to reply within 15 working days.
The Portuguese Electronic Complaints Book is available at www.livroreclamacoes.pt.
For consumer disputes, the consumer may refer the matter to an alternative dispute resolution body under Law 144/2015. The list is available at www.consumidor.gov.pt.
12. Changes and governing law
These terms may change. The version applicable to each booking is the one in force when the booking is completed, and it is recorded with the consent given.
Portuguese law applies. The courts of Porto have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
